The Person Behind the Practice
Hi, I'm Jamari Daniels. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The reason I do this work is simple, I love getting to know people. Not the surface version but the real one. The "why" underneath how someone shows up, the story behind their patterns, the soul of who they are when the noise quiets down. Deep, honest conversation is where I come alive.
I was born and raised in Connecticut. Life took me to New York for a little while, where I earned my master's in social work at Fordham University, and then it brought me to Arizona. I've been living here for a little over seven years now. Outside of sessions, I keep things pretty simple for the most part. I typically spend time outdoors, enjoy good food, stay active, and soak up culture wherever I can find it.
I specialize in supporting adults who feel stuck in anxiety, self-doubt, or the complicated dynamics of family and relationships. Most of my clients come in disconnected from their sense of peace and unsure how to move forward. Together, we work to restore that balance and rebuild trust in yourself.
My style is warm, curious, and real. My approach is rooted in authenticity and compassion. I work from a culturally sensitive lens and treat every person in front of me as a whole human, shaped by lived experience, identity, and everything that's made you, you. I blend evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of how past experiences shape how you show up.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey or simply explore what alignment might look like for you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Practice Policies
Cancellation Policy
I realize that life happens and try to work with every client individually as situations come up. If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the full session cost.
Out-Of-Network
If I am not in-network with your insurance, self-pay is available.
Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for out of network benefits that reimburse a portion of your counseling services. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Upon your request, I will provide you with a receipt (Superbill) at the end of each month which you can submit to your health insurance company directly for reimbursement.
I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network copay or coinsurance?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Do I need any type of pre-authorization prior to accessing out-of-network mental health benefits?
Lastly, I reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients in need of financial flexibility. If this applies to you, please reach out so we can explore options together
Good Faith Estimate
Pursuant to the federal “No Surprises Act of 2022”, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
I will include a “Good Faith Estimate” when I send the intake forms prior to your first appointment. You have the right to request a revised “Good Faith Estimate” at any time during your treatment with me.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your estimate or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
